As I saunter along this narrow road,
My eyes were looking into the deep blue sky.
I gaze upon the heavens,
Dark-rain clouds began to form.
I was in awe at the sight,
As the thunderclouds struck.
The tears of the sky,
Came flushing down.
I scramble and scatter,
On these fallen leaves.
I stood there,
Shuddering in the cold.
Suddenly as the thunder strikes,
My ears began to hear,
My eyes began to see,
The flashes of light across the dark sky.
Running towards the light,
At the end of the road.
How far can I go?
How much can I do?
The answer is here,
There is absolutely nothing I can do.
Without the Light,
There is no hope.
If ever I cross the finishing line,
It will always be this Light.
And I listen to the whispers of my heart.
With so much joy bubbling within my soul.
