As I woke up with the morning sun,
I can hear birds singing in the air.

My senses awaken,
As the light shines through the darkness.

As I took each breath,
I felt the Hope filling my heart.

My heart must be strong,
As the battle must go on.

A day for Victory,
A day of Remembrance.

As I sat beside the window pane,
There was a whisper in my heart.

A day to remember,
On thirteen September.

I look out the window pane,
staring towards the glaring sun.
I can see the light shining through the clouds.

The dawn of a new day,
An array of hope.
Life is full of perils,

If only one can see.

The hardest nights, the raging storm.

I wonder how am I standing here,
After all I've been through.

It takes me closer,
Towards the end of time.
